LOS ANGELES — Rapper A$AP Rocky was charged Monday with assault and accused of firing a handgun towards a former buddy in November, prosecutors stated.
A$AP Rocky, 33, whose actual title is Rakim Mayers, is charged with two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, the Los Angeles County district lawyer’s workplace stated.
Officers say Mayers fired a handgun twice within the path of a former buddy after a “heated dialogue” in Hollywood on Nov. 6.
The district lawyer’s assertion makes no point out that anybody was hit. The previous buddy instructed police he believed one of many bullets grazed his left hand, in response to police experiences.
Mayers’ lawyer, Alan Jackson, had no rapid touch upon the costs Monday.
Arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday, the DA’s workplace stated.
District Legal professional George Gascón stated the taking pictures might have led to tragedy.
